Cinema Politika introduces the first guests on the album Europeana: Jo Zanders on a self-built likembe (passed through a fat distortion-pedal) and the backing vocals of Patrick Kabré. Patrick is a young, promising but already fairly big name from the music scene in Burkina Faso. The backing vocals were recorded during a nightly session in Ouagadougou, after the predictable transfer problems and an inevitable power outage. Cinema Politika is full of afro influences and is criticising politicians who cling to their position at all price, all around the world
